For a much deeper natural looking and longer lasting
tan, we recommend a second application 2-3 days after
the initial application.
Application guidelines:
Prior to Treatment
To get the best from your tan exfoliate and moisturise
your skin regularly prior to having the treatment. This
will give a smoother surface for the therapist to apply
the tan. Pay particular attention to the lower half
of your legs, knees, ankles, top of feet, toes, elbows
and knuckles. Please shower just before visiting the
salon and ensure there are no lotions, makeup or deodorants
left on your skin. If you are shaving or waxing, please
ensure you do this at least 8 hours before salon application.
A much better result will be achieved and the tan will
last longer. We always recommend that you have a trial
run 4-6 weeks before any important occasion, in the
rare case of allergies or unexpected results.
After Treatment
For best results leave the tan on the skin overnight.
If possible try to leave 8 hours before having your
post tan shower. To maximise how long your tan will
last gently exfoliate, using the St.Tropez Body Polisher
(available at the salon) every 2-3 days as the tan starts
to fade and use the St.Tropez Body Moisturiser, as it
will help to prolong the life of the tan.
A salon applied lotion tan will last 7 to 10 days on
the skin. However, this does depend on your skin type,
home skin care routine and lifestyle. Following the
guidelines above will ensure a longer lasting tan.
